AIRBUS , HELICOPTERS ARE MANUFACTURED IN CHINA

Airbus has signed an agreement to € 5.8 billion with China’s Avic for the construction in China of helicopters for civilian transport . The agreement provides that Avicopter , a subsidiary of AVIC , in its factories produce the Chinese version of the helicopter, which on this occasion will be referred to as AC352 . It should have different engines and equipment from the plant model in Marignane France , in Provence. Contrary all’EC175 which features American engines Pratt & Whitney, the Chinese model will make use of a motor of the French Turbomeca , Safran group .

The first helicopter is expected by the end of the year. The agreement provides that the models produced directly from Airbus Helicopters are directed to all world markets , except China which will be reserved for Avicopter .
It is estimated that in the next twenty years, Beijing will need helicopters for a total of $ 50 billion ( € 35.9 billion ) . By 2035 the Asian country intends to acquire more than 5000 specimens from the current 400 . Helicopters Airbus already holds 42% of the rich and promising Chinese cake and expects to get at least 50% .

Also with regard to China, is expected to extend the agreement for an additional ten years of production plant in Tianjin, on the outskirts of the capital. The Chinese would accept .
