THE MOST GOOD “PANETTONE” IS MADE IN ISCHIA AND ALESSANDRO SLAMA IS SIGNED

Soft, very soft and fragrant: it is the handmade panettone of IschiaPane, on the box the Aragonese Castle, designed by Alessandro Slama. It is a young panettone and already emblazoned: in October it has been awarded the title of best chocolate panettone in Campania and has entered the 25 best traditional panettone of Italy, category in which it then arrived fifth in Italy, also behind the fathers of panettone by antonomasia, the Milanese.
About himself on the site of Ischia Safari says: “I am half-aged, I was born in Ischia but I lived a lot of time in Tunisia, where my father is from. I carry on a family project: bread-making. I am the third generation of a historic family of Ischia, I was born as a baker, I made several courses (with important masters of the sector as Giorilli, Rivola) on bread making with various methods of leavening, and I also participated in various competitions: the most important is was the world cup where I won in the national selection. In a course with Master Morandin I discover the natural yeast that changed my life, I was passionate, it made me discover a new world, since I’m always looking for innovative and healthy products “.
A result achieved by Alessandro truly exceptional behind which, says the bakers-pastry chef “is the work of years and years of effort of a whole family and of the people who are close to me”.
