THE TERRACOTTA ARMY AND THE FIRST EMPEROR OF CHINA, EXTENDED IN JULY THE EXHIBITION IN NAPLES

The exhibition “The Terracotta Army and the First Emperor of China” is extended until 1 July 2018 in the Basilica of the Holy Spirit in Naples, via Toledo 402.
Since October, the exhibition of the great reproduction of one of the most important archaeological discoveries of the twentieth century has welcomed over 60 thousand people between Italian and foreign tourists.
“The great success of this first national event in Naples, with further confirmation given by the numerous presences during the Easter holidays, has pushed us to remain still in a city rich in history and culture – explains the Italian curator Fabio di Gioia – There are still many requests coming from schools and travelers coming from all over the world. In addition, the May of the Monuments is approaching, a very important event for the city of Naples and its tourism. We believe that the unique suggestion of the union between East and Occident, born from the juxtaposition of reproductions of terracotta statues dated over 2000 years with the sixteenth century Basilica of the Holy Spirit, it is still the cultural keystone that attracts our visitors “.
For the period of extension there are musical events, aperitifs and many initiatives for the Maggio dei Monumenti. Stand now fixed on display, the stand by Teadiquori by Roberto Riccardi offering free tastings of Chinese tea, always hot and reassuring, in the book shop.
