RAFA BENITEZ VISITED THE ANCIENT CITY OF CUMA: “IS A GARDEN OF EDEN”

Napoli coach Rafa Benitez with his wife Montserrat, daughters and several friends visited the Acropolis of Cumae: exceptional testimonial of the city and its surroundings, the mister said his day on his web site www.rafabenitez.com. Here’s what he posted Benitez:

“Along with some of my technical staff members and with our families, we took advantage of this Maundy Thursday afternoon to visit the ruins of the ancient city of cumae. It is the first city founded by the Greeks in the Gulf of Naples, where they arrived in the 8th century BC from the nearby island of Ischia that appears behind me in one of the photos that I’ve attached.
The exquisite treatment that we have reserved people who accompanied us and the affection of those who we met along the way, they made sure that we spent a wonderful afternoon all. Sincerely appreciate this demonstration of affection and respect towards us we collect day after day in this wonderful setting.
To give the finishing touch to a great afternoon, and before returning to our hotel, we enjoyed an uninterrupted view of the Lake Avernus located north of Pozzuoli and occupies, with its fresh water, the crater of an ancient volcano near the sea. Continue to enhance these veritable earthly paradises and the rich heritage of Naples and its surroundings that are to be visited obligatorily by all those who want to get closer to this beautiful land. As we did yesterday and today, tomorrow we will continue to prepare for our match on Saturday against Udinese. Forza Napoli, Always! “
