WILLIAM AND KATE SOON IN CHINA FOR DIPLOMATS strengthen relations

William and Kate could make a real historical tour in China next year. According to the Sunday Times, Kensington Palace and the Foreign Office are studying plans to organize what is seen as an extraordinary diplomatic initiative to strengthen relations between the UK and China, which only recently have returned after the tensions of recent years, in particularly following the meetings of the British Prime Minister David Cameron and Prince Charles with the Dalai Lama.

The tour should not take place before the five-month period in which they are training to William in his new role as a pilot in the air ambulance service in East Anglia. The Dukes would also in China a large following of admirers and the choice fell on them after the success of the tour in New Zealand and Australia. Neither has visited China in the past and this would be an opportunity to learn about a country that fascinates both. Not always in the past, however, there was a good relationship between the real and the Chinese authorities.
